Elephant ride at Amber Fort :Â Â AÂ classic Rajasthani Fort Palace. The fort may look rough and austere from the outside, but the interiors in true Rajasthani style palaces evoke a sense of refined luxury. Inside the famed Sheesh Mahal – a room with all the four walls and ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces is a must see. Before entering the fort, visit a temple dedicated to goddess Kali. Enjoy the Elephant ride on Amber Fort.
Maharaja’s City Palace : A sprawling complex that served as home to the Jaipur rulers since the early 18th century. The complex is now a part museum with sections exhibiting some of the family memorabilia and art collection of the royal Jaipur family. A section of the palace is residence of the present day Maharaja Bhavani Singh. Later visit an astronomical observatory Jantar Mantar, which is the largest stone and marble crafted observatory in the world. Situated near the gate of the city palace, the observatory has 17 curiously shaped instruments, many of them still in working condition. An integral part of the city palace but slightly away from the main complex is the most photographed building in Jaipur.
Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds: Originally intended for women of the palace to observe the daily activities of the city without being seen from the outside, the façade of the building has 953 windows that create a somewhat concert of the winds.
